Will I receive an electrical certificate?
The document depends on the job. New circuits and consumer-unit replacements receive an Electrical Installation Certificate. Alterations to an existing circuit receive an Electrical Installation Certificate or Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate, according to the work completed. An EICR booking receives the completed condition report. Like-for-like maintenance may not require a certificate.
Can you arrange access with my tenant?
Yes. With the landlord or agent's permission, the appointment can be arranged directly with the tenant or keyholder and the paperwork returned to the landlord or agent.
